Fire Risk Assessment
With very few exceptions, all workplaces must now have a fire risk assessment.
If you:-
- Employ 5 or more people, or
- You must have a license to operate, or
- Where an Alterations Notice has been issued,
then your risk assessment must be documented.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order came into effect on 1st October 2006 and your local fire authority now has the power to check to see that you have one.
